Be Careful About What You Learn!

1 Thessalonians 5:21

 Prove all things

2 Thessalonians  2:15 

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught 

1 Peter 2:2                             

 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby 

2 Peter 3:18

 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 

1 John 2:5

And hereby we do know that we know him [Jesus Christ], if we keep his commandments.

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 

Acts 17:11

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
